A beer created from an original recipe of Westvleteren Abbey which stands was developed by the abbot. The monks of the Abbey of St. Sixtus, once finalized World War II gave the license to St. Bernardus so they could develop their beer.
St. Bernardus Abt. 10 is one of them, a dark beer with a layer of persistent and creamy foam nose fruity aromas and floral notes along perceive coffee, spices and chocolate. In the mouth it is pleasant and sweet flavors dominated balanced with slight notes of fruit and coffee.
