One of the main independent breweries in Belgium currently still running, the De Brabandere brewery is a family business founded by a father and a son, Adolphe and Jozef De Brabandere, in 1894.
Located in Bavikhove, the company is now run by the fifth generation of the De Brabandere family, whose general manager is Albert De Brabandere since 2017.
Among its various beer brands, is the Petrus Tradition, a range where the Petrus Gouden Tripel. A top-fermented beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle which is made from pure spring water, malt, wheat, sugar, yeast and three European aromatic hops.
A beer golden color and white foam having a pleasant aroma of malt and flowers showing a round in the mouth character, which highlights its acidity and bitterness with notes of licorice.
