Henri Van Der Velden was the founder Oud Beersel brewery, a company that is responsible for developing lambic style beers using traditional methods since 1882 which is located in the municipality of Beersel, Belgium.
Oud Beersel Kriek beer along the Gueuze, were revived by two young people interested in the craft beer Oud Beersel. Kriek Oud is an example of the classic recipes of spontaneous fermentation, also called lambic. An acidic beer ripening in oak barrels and a local maceration from tart cherries.
A Belgian beer ruby having a layer of pink foam very thin and durable nose the very special aroma of fresh cherries and almonds offering a fresh, tangy taste with notes intense cherry is perceived.
