Description
Orval Trappist beer is brewed in the Abbaye Notre-Dame d'Orval in the Gaume, Belgium. The first beer Orval occurred in 1931, although there are documents which prove that beer was produced since the creation of the monastery.
An authentic Trappist beer which is made with quality ingredients, such as spring water, barley malt, hops and Hallertau Goldings, sugar candy and yeast. Orval is a top-fermented beer using the dry hopping technique to enhance the flavor and aroma of a beer using the same traditional production methods for over 80 years.
An original Trappist complex and intense aroma of ripe fruit, hops flowers, spices, banana and citrus that has a dry flavor with bitter finish showing notes of rhubarb and licorice.
