The Santa Teresa was founded in 1796 and is located in the Valley of Aragua, Venezuela. Santa Teresa is the first brand of rum from Venezuela that has over 200 years of tradition in the manufacture of aged rums which is currently chaired by Alberto Vollmer, the fifth generation of this family.
Rums of Hacienda Santa Teresa are produced from its own sugar cane, which is processed into a dark, thick honey called molasses ingredient used to produce rums Santa Teresa.
Santa Teresa Gran Reserva is the flagship rum Venezuela, a blend of rums aged premium for five years in oak barrels and barrels. A soft, light rum noted for its strong character where freshness and firmness of wood combined.
