Maredsous 10 is a Belgian abbey beer created to be consumed on special occasions by the Benedictine monks of Maredsous Abbey. An abbey is located in Namur, Belgium, founded in 1872.
Currently this beer is not made within the walls of the abbey since in 1963 the Duvel Moortgat group took possession of it, however, processing is performed traditionally on orders of monks Benedictines.
A triple high fermentation and second fermentation in the bottle that has a smooth and elegant flavor of roasted malt with notes of nuts has a sweet ending, persistent nose out a fresh fruity aroma with herbal notes.
