Rémy Martin was a young winemaker of the Cognac region in 1724 started marketing its own Cognac in 1738 thanks to the high quality of its product, King Louis XV granted the right to new plant vines.
In 1981, the cellar master of the company, André Giraud, decided to create a whiskey that express the excellence of Fine Champagne Cognac, thanks to that Remy Martin XO was born Excellence.
This whiskey is made from distilled spirits from the best vineyards of Cognac, Grande Champagne and Petit Champagne, these spirits offer potential single aging, which is done in French oak barrels Limousin ranging from 10 to 37 years.
A whiskey delicious aroma of ripe fruit combined with floral notes which include lily and jasmine in the mouth has an elegant very smooth entry reflecting the richness of a fine champagne, final persistent and tasty.
