The house Angostura originated in 1824 when a German physician created a blend of herbs whose name was ""Aromatic Bitters"" which later became famous Angostura bitters.
Angostura is known worldwide for its bitter, but nevertheless, it has also become known for offering a range of rums distilled from the method of five columns under the command of the master distiller John P. Georges.
Within this range is the Angostura rum 7 years, a rum made from molasses which is produced from a very painstaking process where two portions of rum are mixed and rum pure which is aged for seven years in bourbon barrels charred American oak.
A light rum vanilla scent having an inlet sweet and moderate that gives way to a dry flavor and toasted oak.
