The brewery Brouwerij de Koningshoeven occasion of its 125th anniversary in 2009 introduced a new limited edition beer that was named after the first brewer who had the abbey, however, was so well received that La Trappe Isid ' or it was included within the range of beers permanently.
Its preparation ingredients such as natural water, pale malt barley and caramel malt, wheat, glucose syrup, hops and yeast are used exclusively. The first fermentation is carried out with a special type of yeast, once bottled, it is added to the yeast beer and sugar, where will place its second fermentation thus developing a unique aroma, a final result Trappist beer is achieved.
An excellent combination of floral aromas, fruity and spicy in the mouth has a harmonious fruity flavor that evolves barley and caramel.
