Julian Barceló is responsible for the rum brand Barceló, the Spaniard had the dream of creating one of the best rums in the world, therefore founded in 1930 the distillery Barceló Co. in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
A Dominican rum that soon obtained a great success locally and in 1994 it was exported to over 10 countries. Rum made from molasses of sugar cane better the world that has a maturation process in oak barrels previously contained bourbon.
Barceló Añejo is characterized as a rum fruity aroma very expressive brandy with notes of caramel, spices and herbs, in the mouth has a subtle entrance where coffee notes are perceived, wood, candy gives way to other like coconut, pepper or chalk.
