Description
Zacapa is a premium rum produced by Rum and Products, a subsidiary of Industrias Licoreras of Guatemala, which distributes Diageo. This rum was created in 1976 to celebrate the centenary of Zacapa, eastern city of Guatemala.
Zacapa XO is made from liquor obtained from the first pressing of sugar cane, a process which brings the Premium category that makes it unique. Zacapa XO is a rum made from a blend of rums aged 6 to 25 years is aged in French oak barrels that previously contained cognac.
A wide range of aromas that evolve where fragrances are perceived very well balanced oak, caramel, nuts, etc. which has a delicate floral background. In the mouth its long, soft and sweet tour with strong notes of chocolate and intense notes of dried fruit.
