The Bodegas Legado de Orniz are responsible for the production of Epitafio red wine. One of the winery's most pampered wines, which is created from a single grape variety, Tinta de Toro. Thanks to the talent of Enriqueta Celemín and Diego Alfredo Ribbert, both oenologists, has been able to create this magnificent wine with the Toro Denomination of Origin. For its production, grapes from hundred-year-old vineyards have been collected, which have undergone prolonged maceration with their skins. Once the clean wine is obtained, it is transferred to new French oak barrels for malolactic fermentation, and finally, its aging. It will last about 12 months in new French oak barrels. A red wine that has a strong and complex aroma of red fruits accompanied by soft spicy notes, its flavor is intense, elegant and balanced with the presence of tannins silky very well integrated.
