Wild Turkey bourbon is produced in the city of Lawrenceville, Kentucky. The distillery is one of the seven in the state of Kentucky, and produces a wide range of whiskeys. The distillery was founded by the family Ripy in 1869 and stood at the Wild Turkey Hill there on behalf of this drink.
Wild Turkey 8 Years blocks cereals (mainly corn grown in Kentucky mixed with barley and rye), water is taken from a limestone and yeast (is made with a secret formula and cultivated in the distillery ). The whiskey is aged in new oak barrels, which are badly burned in order to add extra flavor, for a minimum of eight years.
