Description
The Distillery Tomatin has its origins in the sixteenth century, a period in which supplying whiskey to farmers and herders in eastern Monad Liath, however, it was not until 1897 that the distillery was licensed and could distill whiskey legally.
Tomatin 12 Years is distilled in one of the distilleries located at the highest altitude of Scotland, in 1970 the distillery was one of the largest distilleries in Scotland.
To prepare this single malt whiskey malted barley used, their maturation process is 12 years in oak barrels that previously contained sherry.
Scotch whiskey aroma consisting of which are distinguished aromas of fruits of the forest, nut, nuts, raisins, herbs and caramel with a touch smoky, its accompanying taste perfectly aroma giving the softness that many demanding tasters love it.
