Dewar's is a Scottish distillery founded in 1846 by John Dewar, later joined this business his two sons, who inherited the company and ended up calling her Dewar's and Sons.
Dewar's 12 Years is a blended Scotch made from a selection of whiskeys and malt grain from different distilleries. Among processes, is a double aging, ie that aging is performed in two stages, in the first whiskeys and malts is aged separately, then the mixture of malt and grains are made, once this aging process becomes about six months and all mixed up.
A blended Scotch type that has very delicate aroma of vanilla, cocoa powder, caramelized citrus and honey.
