Bowmore is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland which produces Scotch whiskey, located on the island of Islay and Morrison Bowmore Distillers property Ltd, although its real founder was a local merchant named John P. Simons.
A single malt whiskey including the term proof spirit, term used by the British sailors to make sure their rum rations were not watered down with water. Because of its authenticity and its strength, Bowmore whiskey continues to maintain that strength offering alcohol barrel that is not filtered.
A whiskey malt aroma which include salt notes with a smoke light wood and a subtle sweetness of candy in mouth is ample, tasty and delicious, well balanced that has a powerful and warm finish.
