Description
Created in one of the oldest distilleries in the world, founded in 1608 and today still works, Bushmills is the distillery in charge of preparing the Original Bushmills, one of the whiskeys basic range.
This Irish whiskey, blended malt is distilled three times very little known in Spain. For processing grain whiskey slowly maturing, at least five years in American oak barrels, which is mixed with Irish Whiskey Single Malt, obtaining as a result an original mix is used.
A whiskey nose dominated by citrus scent that is giving way to more subtle scents like flowers, wood and caramel on the palate is light with a strong woody flavor with a very slight aftertaste of smoke.

La zona tiene una gran tradición destilera. De acuerdo con la tradición popular, en 1276, un colono llamado Sir Robert Savage de Ards, antes de derrotar a los irlandeses en batalla, reforzó a sus tropas con "un poderoso trago de aqua vitae". En 1608, el rey Jacobo I de Inglaterra y VI de Escocia otorgó una licencia a Sir Thomas Phillipps para destilar whisky.
