Beronia 198 Barricas Selection is a red wine with the Beronia barrel cellar. This wine is made from Tempranillo grape variety par excellence of the O.D. La Rioja. The grapes used for processing comes from old vines over 60 years old that is collected when it is at its best ripening. Once it is transferred to the winery, the grapes are selected with higher quality and macerated in cold prefermentative way. After a fermentation is carried out at constant temperature with periodic pumping then finish with an aging 24 months in mixed oak barrels and French ending with bottle aging for 24 months. Wine very attractive and lively with reddish tones that gives off an intense aroma and complex where red and black fruit predominates in the forest with balsamic notes and sweet spices. The palate has a soft entry and robust firm noted for its wide range of flavors harmonized with sweet tannins.
