Description
The Bodegas Chozas Carrascal has the honor to present the jewel of the house, the Cabernet Franc 2014. A red wine with O.D. Utiel- Requena made of a single type of grape variety, Cabernet Franc.
This wine is made from very little productive strains of the farm, which are hand harvested where the grape is selected grain by grain. Once in the winery, is vinified in concrete eggs with a maceration of three weeks, during this period of time, two bazuqueos are performed daily, in addition to performing a délestage, malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. Finally the wine remains in French oak barrels for nine months, during the first months will make weekly batonage.
A red wine with high layer violáceo intense aroma and elegant taste is expressive character and body obtained thanks to the variety and terroir.
