Description
The MartÃn Códax winery is in charge of producing the Cuatro Pasos Black wine, a red wine from D.O. Bierzo made from 100% MencÃa grape.
This wine begins in the vineyards of the Bierzo region, vineyards with more than 80 years that are on slate soils Its harvest is done manually and then transferred to the winery, where it is fermented for seven days in stainless steel stills, leaving it to macerate for a further 25 days with its skins. It is aged in French and American oak barrels of medium toast for seven or eight months.
Cherry-colored wine that is very expressive on the nose, where the aroma of the MencÃa grape is perceived In the mouth it is tasty, long and balanced with very good acidity.
